About Eric Delort
With more than 20 years experience in Marine environment projects management, Eric Delort is now considered and recognized as a major French expert in the field of Biology and Marine environment.
Through his whole career, Eric developed deep technical knowledge as well as strong leadership and management soft skills. Each project is conducted under an environmental approach, linked to social, economic and human activities. Eric organized and obtained several certifications: ISO 9001 for Quality, MASE for Environment and Security, Hyperbaric for all underwater operations. Eric also started Basic 5S and Kaizen systems.
On top of professional aspects, Eric is a grand traveler and has faculties to adapt himself to various cultures (USA, Africa, Asia, Australia and NZ, Europe..).
Personal facts : Eric is also a diving instructor, he's passionate about fishing on his boat in La Ciotat, France, and loves taking care of his bees hives with his two daughters.

CEO & Founder of Eric Delort Consult
After graduated from my PhD course in 1999 in Marine Biology with Marseille University (France), École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE - Sorbonne, France) and marine chemistry from Shizuoka University (Japan), I worked as oceanographic project manager for SAFEGE CETIIS.
From 2000 to 2001, I was in charge of oceanographic projects in the French structure ZOE Environment.
From 2001 to 2009 I was in charge of the Mediterranean Agency of the French Company IN VIVO ENVIRONNEMENT.
From 2009 to 2020 I was promoted as General Manager of French Company IXSURVEY, part of iXBLUE group, with subsidiaries in Scotland and Australia. During 12 years, I was in charge of the main organization with a 10M€ turnover and 40 people to manage. On top of driving HR and Finance teams (managing budget, EDBITA, CAPEX and hiring), I also organized and planned a full international business department and developed long term contracts with large companies such as Defense, EDF, ECA… [Military secret for contracts and operations – French MOD accreditation].
In August 2020, I launched my own structure and created Eric Delort Consult SAS - Consulting company specialized in biology and marine environment projects.
